Job description


Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, industrial control systems, instrumentation, and automation equipment to ensure maximum system reliability

Monitor the performance of PLC-controlled production lines, automation systems, and field devices, identifying abnormalities, and implementing corrective actions to maximize equipment availability, reliability, and operational efficiency.

Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in PLC programs, HMIs, VFDs, servo systems, sensors, actuators, control panels, electrical systems, and industrial communication networks.

Configure, troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and motor control systems, including Danfoss, Siemens, Schneider Electric.

Conduct routine inspections, functional testing, and preventive maintenance of electrical, instrumentation, and automation equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation.

Support the installation, commissioning, modification, and upgrading of PLC, HMI, SCADA, electrical control panels, instrumentation, and automation systems, ensuring proper testing, and validation.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records, calibration certificates, troubleshooting reports, PLC/HMI program backups, and technical documentation.

Report shortages of automation spare parts, electrical components, instrumentation devices, and critical maintenance materials to the supervisor

Analyze recurring equipment failures, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance automation system reliability and efficiency.

Collaborate with production, maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to implement process improvements, reduce equipment downtime, improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and support continuous operational excellence.

Ensure all maintenance, installation, and modification activities comply with company procedures, ISO standards, GMP requirements (where applicable), and applicable electrical and automation regulations.
