The ICT Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality technology instruction aligned with the American curriculum framework for elementary and middle school students. The teacher develops students’ digital literacy, computational thinking, creativity, and responsible technology use through engaging, student-centered learning experiences.
The ICT Teacher supports the integration of technology across subject areas and prepares students with essential 21st-century skills needed for academic success and lifelong learning.
* Plan and deliver engaging ICT lessons aligned with American curriculum standards and school learning outcomes.
* Teach age-appropriate technology skills including:
* Digital literacy
* Keyboarding and computer fundamentals
* Internet research and online safety
* Coding and computational thinking
* Multimedia presentations
* Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications
* Use differentiated instruction strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
* Integrate project-based and inquiry-based learning approaches into lessons.
* Promote creativity, collaboration, communication, and critical thinking skills.
* Incorporate educational technology tools to enhance student learning.
