A leading automotive organisation is seeking a highly experienced Automotive Brand Manager to develop, implement, and manage comprehensive brand strategies aligned with corporate growth objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive automotive experience, including mandatory exposure to a Chinese automotive brand, and will drive brand positioning, market penetration, and revenue performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth consumer insights and market research to support strategic decision-making.
- Analyse and evaluate current brand positioning within the automotive market landscape.
- Develop and implement data-driven brand strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
- Define target audience segmentation and pricing strategies to maximise market share and profitability.
- Plan, develop, and execute integrated marketing campaigns to communicate brand positioning and value proposition.
- Align internal stakeholders around brand vision, identity, and messaging to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and evolving consumer behaviour to proactively adapt brand strategy.
- Oversee brand performance metrics, sales impact, and ROI of marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, After-Sales, Digital, and Dealer Networks to strengthen brand equity.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 10–12 years of progressive experience in Brand Management, Marketing, or related commercial leadership roles.
- At least 5–6 years of direct experience within the automotive industry (OEM or authorised distributor level preferred).
- Mandatory prior experience managing or working with a Chinese automotive brand, such as Geely, Chery, Great Wall Motors, BYD Auto, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully launching, repositioning, or scaling automotive brands, with measurable commercial outcomes (market share growth, sales volume, brand equity improvement).
- Proven experience within the Kuwait automotive market, including knowledge of local consumer behaviour, competitive landscape, dealer networks, and regulatory environment.
- Valid Visa Article 18 (Transferable) is mandatory.
