AWS Cloud Engineer (Remote – Jordan)


We are hiring AWS Cloud Engineers to join our managed services team supporting enterprise clients in Europe. You will operate and develop internet-facing applications on AWS in a 24/7 model.


What you'll do:

• Operate and monitor AWS-based applications (EC2, VPC, Route 53, S3)

• Handle incidents under strict SLAs (15-min pickup, 30-min response, 2-hr resolution)

• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform)

• Monthly patching, backup & restore, disaster recovery

• Maintain operational documentation (runbooks, recovery plans)

• Support platform services: Control Tower, Security Hub, GuardDuty, Transit Gateway, IAM

• Antivirus management (Trend Micro Cloud One)


What you bring:

• Valid AWS certification (Solutions Architect Associate or higher)

• Hands-on AWS experience (minimum 2 years)

• Infrastructure as Code skills (CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform)

• Strong Linux administration skills

• Monitoring & ticketing experience (any tools — we'll train on ours)

• Fluent English (written & spoken)

• Willingness to participate in 24/7 on-call rotation


Nice to have:

• AWS Solutions Architect Professional or Security Specialty

• ITIL knowledge

• Experience in regulated industries (insurance/finance)

• Nextcloud experience
