The Senior Accountant plays a key role in overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
This position requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to lead or support audits, budgeting, and financial analysis.
The role is critical in supporting decision-making through timely and accurate financial data.

• Reconcile accounts and bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Oversee general ledger entries, accruals, and monthly closing processes.
• Monitor and process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely settlements and collections.
• Assist in annual budget planning and regular financial forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and coordinate with external consultants for return submissions.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and required documentation.
• Implement and monitor internal controls to mitigate risks and ensure integrity of financial records.
• Analyze variances and trends to provide insights and recommendations to management.
• Supervise or mentor junior accountants if required.
• Collaborate with procurement, operations, and project teams on financial matters.
Qualifications and Skills: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, ACCA, or CMA preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis roles.
• Experience in travel, GSA, or related service sectors is an advantage.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.
g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar ERP systems).
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with financial modeling tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
