Role: Workday Admin and Security Analyst


Brief: You'll manage the Overall Security architecture and governance across the Workday platform (HCM, Compensation, Absence, Learning, Recruiting, Talent and performance)


Location: Pune, India


Job description:


  • Configure, maintain, and advise on security within Workday application including but not limited to domain security policies, roles, and role assignments.
  • Perform audits on system roles and access logs to ensure accuracy. Partner with HR Ops team for the process, management, and execution of mass data uploads (EIBs)
  • Provide hands on configuration of Workday domain and business process security policies and role assignments and provide sound solutions and recommending efficient security and organization solutions to support end to end business processes.
  • Maintain system and security assignment integrity in compliance with GDPR, internal process and controls, and any other regulatory mandates. Lead the design development, testing, training, auditing, and implementation of Workday security or organization solutions.
  • Direct efforts to improve and implement system integrations between Workday and internal applications.
  • Support system testing functionality and issue resolution and develop proof of concepts based on business requirements.
  • Develop and build strong relationships with other Workday domain experts and critical users and partner with internal technology teams and vendors to ensure alignment of processes to systems and tools.
  • Work closely with colleagues in the HRIS team to support testing internal changes and Workday releases.
  • Provide the highest level of customer support via an internal ticketing system and all other standard forms of communication and interaction.

Qualification and Skills:


  • 4+ years of proven Workday expertise designing, implementing, and supporting security solutions meeting complex business requirements.
  • Knowledge of basic and advanced security configuration and delivered and custom organizations.
  • Knowledge of creating, loading, and troubleshooting EIBs Great analytical skills and creative problem solving, showing ability to trace root-causes, collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to build partnerships with cross-functional teams and facilitate interactions.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, follow-through on both verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability and flexibility to multitask, prioritize, and organize multiple projects/tasks concurrently while meeting required deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. This is crucial as the specialist or consultant will need to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, from project team members to senior management, to ensure the project's success.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, focused on Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint Workday certifications preferred.
