The Caterpillar Power & Energy Segment (P&E) has a broad portfolio of products and services which include engines, generator sets, and industrial gas turbines along with other related equipment depending on the industry and application. We deliver these products and services to Cat machines, oil & gas, power generation, transportation and industrial customers.




We are currently looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager based in Bangalore, supporting various business units of Power & Energy Segment across India. This role will have direct oversight for a team of recruiters and will be accountable for providing talent acquisition advisory and leadership for Caterpillar across Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Product support and all supporting functions in-country.




Job Summary




Manages a team to identify, recruit, select and place qualified candidates for management, professional and technical positions. Develops and implements recruitment programs. Works closely with the TA Leadership and HR Partners to ensure compliance and adoption of leading practices.




What You Will Do:



  • Directing, motivating and developing staff, maximizing individual contributions and supporting professional growth.
  • Managing recruitment programs; implementing improvements to staffing processes, including sourcing and selection.
  • Developing recruitment best practices which support the organization's goals and direction.
  • Working with management to ensure the timely understanding of current and future workforce needs; evaluating and providing advice on these needs.

What Skills You Will Have:



  • Influencing: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.
  • Customer/Market Focus: Understanding of the importance of remaining aware of shifting market priorities and ability to respond to internal and external customer needs in a manner that consistently adds value.
  • Leadership: Knowledge of leadership practices and processes; ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing and achieving objectives while having a long-term perspective of the future state of things and how to get there.
  • Workforce Analytics: Knowledge of human resources (HR) and workforce issues and trends; ability to analyze workforce data, information and metrics and apply the results to support business decisions.
  • Process Management: Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques; ability to understand, monitor, update, control, or enhance existing business or work processes.
  • Effectiveness Measurement: Knowledge of effective measurement techniques and ability to measure the quality and quantity of work effort for the purpose of improvement.

Top candidates will also have:



  • Experience supporting high growth business in the variety of functional areas (such as Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Support)
  • Prior experience leading high performing teams with a focus on metrics and a track record of delivering on challenging targets.
  • Experience working closely with senior leaders and stakeholders, both locally and internationally to deliver on business objectives
