Supply Chain Manager

Role overview

•  Lead and manage the complete supply chain function for the business

•  Drive structure, control, and efficiency across procurement, planning, stock management, logistics, exports, and plant coordination

•  Work closely with internal teams to improve material availability, cost control, and operational discipline

•  Take ownership in a role where your work directly influences business performance and scalability

Key responsibilities

•  Manage end-to-end supply chain operations for the company

•  Handle procurement and planning of raw materials

•  Maintain control over MOQ planning and stock availability

•  Monitor and manage critical raw material inventory

•  Drive raw material price control and cost efficiency

•  Coordinate with plant teams on manufacturing-related requirements

•  Work closely with QC at plant level for smooth execution

•  Manage export documentation and export dispatch coordination

•  Oversee logistics and material movement

•  Ensure proper control of packaging materials

•  Maintain strong MIS reporting and operational tracking

•  Support margin analysis and commercial understanding

•  Build smooth cross-functional coordination across departments

•  Visit the Daman plant once a month for operational review and alignment

Desired candidate profile

•  BE Chemical/mechanical  or  BSc/MSc Chemistry preferred 

•  Around 8–10 years of relevant experience in a similar role

•  Background in the chemical industry is preferred

•  Candidates from metal working fluids, lubricants, or related industrial chemical sectors will be especially relevant

•  Strong experience in buying a wide range of raw materials

•  Good understanding of sourcing channels for industry-specific chemicals
