Job description

Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage and support Murex environments, ensuring high availability and smooth operation.
  • Oversee and troubleshoot Murex End-of-Day (EOD) batch processes.
  • Perform routine environment maintenance, configuration, and monitoring.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues across environments, working with cross‑functional teams.
  • Develop and maintain shell scripts and other automation scripts to support operational efficiency.
  • Work with databases to perform queries, validations, and environment checks.
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to enhance deployment processes.
  • Utilize CI/CD tools to support build, deployment, and release activities.
  • Maintain documentation and support operational best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:


  • Hands-on experience in Murex environment management.
  • Strong understanding of Murex EOD batch processing and related workflows.
  • Working knowledge of databases (SQL or similar) with ability to perform basic to intermediate queries.
  • Proficiency in shell scripting for operational tasks and automation.
  • Exposure to or experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Bamboo, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues across multiple layers—application, environment, and infrastructure.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
