About the role

Orange Business is seeking an experienced Unified Communications & Collaboration (UC&C) Solution Architect to join our Digital Innovation & Design team in Gurgaon. This is a critical role supporting our Asia Pacific growth strategy, working with enterprise customers to transform their communication and collaboration infrastructure.



As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing, positioning, and selling cutting-edge unified communications, contact center, and collaboration solutions which are a part of our EX & CX portfolio. You will work closely with our on-shore Sales and Presales teams across APAC, providing technical leadership and expertise in Voice Networks, Cisco Collaboration, Genesys Contact Center, Webex, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and AI-powered communication platforms.
This role combines deep technical expertise with customer-facing consultancy, requiring someone who can translate complex business requirements into innovative, scalable, and cost-effective UC&C solutions that drive digital transformation.
Core ResponsibilitiesSolution Architecture & Design
  • Architect end-to-end Unified Communications, Collaboration, and Contact Center solutions across cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments
  • Design enterprise voice networks including VoIP, SIP trunking, PSTN interconnect, carrier integrations, and Session Border Controllers
  • Lead cloud telephony and operator services architecture ensuring global scalability & regulatory compliance
  • Develop migration strategies from legacy platforms to modern cloud-based solutions with minimal business disruption
Multi-Vendor Collaboration Platforms
  • Design enterprise collaboration solutions across Cisco (Webex, CUCM), Zoom, and Microsoft Teams ecosystems
  • Architect interoperable, multi-vendor environments enabling seamless hybrid work and global voice services
  • Deliver consistent user experiences across diverse platforms, devices, and geographies
Contact Center & Customer Experience
  • Design next-generation cloud contact centers (Genesys Cloud, Webex Contact Center, Zoom Contact Center, Amazon Connect,NICE CXone)
  • Architect omnichannel engagement solutions integrating voice, chat, email, SMS, social media, and video
  • Implement intelligent routing, workforce optimization, and customer journey orchestration
AI & Intelligent Automation
  • Integrate conversational AI and virtual agents (Google CCAI, Amazon Lex, Genesys AI, Nuance, Microsoft Bot Framework)
  • Design AI-powered agent assist, predictive analytics, sentiment analysis, and speech analytics capabilities
  • Implement voice biometrics, generative AI, and responsible AI frameworks with continuous optimization
Enterprise Integration
  • Design integration architectures connecting UC&C platforms with CRM (Salesforce, Dynamics 365, ServiceNow), business applications, and analytics platforms
  • Ensure seamless workflows with API-first design, middleware integration, and unified user experiences
  • Enable data synchronization, screen pops, click-to-dial, and presence integration
Financial & Commercial Ownership
  • Own complete cost accountability from estimation through implementation and operations
  • Develop accurate BoM, professional services estimates, managed services costs, and carrier connectivity pricing
  • Ensure alignment with customer budgets and profitability targets through value engineering and flexible commercial models
  • Conduct TCO analysis, ROI modeling, and FinOps optimization for cloud solutions

About you

You are a dynamic professional with a graduate degree in a related field and possess extensive experience in solution architecture, including pre-sales support. Your excellent written and communication skills, combined with your strong presentation capabilities, enable you to articulate complex solutions effectively. You have a proven track record of leading projects in voice and collaboration technologies with at least 10 years in the industry, showcasing your adaptability and desire for continuous learning.

• The candidate will have significant experience in pre-sales activities, enabling strategic engagement with clients.
• A strong understanding of cloud, hybrid, and on-premise voice and collaboration solutions is essential.
• Experience in designing secure and scalable digital workplace solutions is crucial.

• Proficiency in AI integration within communication platforms is preferred.
