We are looking for a Software Test Engineer – Integration, HSIT & End-to-End (E2E) Verification | Kavach Wayside You’ll make a difference by: Primary Languages: Python (orchestration/tooling/log correlation) + C++ (SIL-side harness interaction where applicable) System Integration Testing, Hardware-Software Integration Testing, Kavach Lab ownership Role Summary You will validate integration behavior and end-to-end operational flows across multiple subsystems, including failure/recovery conditions, with an emphasis on repeatability and regression readiness. You’ll make an impact by Plan and execute Software Integration Testing (SIT) and E2E scenarios across station-side subsystems Validate message flows, sequencing, timing, retries/timeouts, fallbacks, and fail-safe behavior Stabilize and execute HSIT scenarios in lab/simulator environments (startup, reboot, link fail/recover) Correlate logs/telemetry across nodes and produce evidence-ready verdicts per scenario Build repeatable regression packs and environment smoke checks; support simulator/stub-based setups Your success is grounded in Hands-on integration/system testing experience in distributed/networked systems Python skills for orchestration, automation utilities, and multi-source log correlation C++ familiarity for harness/simulator interaction where needed Strong troubleshooting across interfaces and components; clear defect reproduction writing You’ll benefit from Lab/HSIT experience and network troubleshooting (link faults, device connectivity) Experience working with simulators/stubs and test bench provisioning Exposure to evidence/traceability practices in regulated or safety-critical environments Education Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Computer Science (or equivalent) Working Style / Competencies Evidence-driven mindset suitable for safety-critical and audit-ready environments Strong problem solving with structured debugging and clear written communication Collaboration across development, lab/simulator owners, and configuration/test management stakeholders Ownership of commitments (plan vs actual) and continuous improvement mindset Your success is grounded in: 2-4 years of experience is required.
