JOIN US! WE MAKE REAL WHAT MATTERS. THIS IS YOUR ROLE Your Role You ensure effective failure analysis, repair, and sustainable problem resolution for customer returned devices and PCBAs. This role involves debugging, component-level analysis, quality improvement coordination, and collaboration with global Customer care and Factories/development teams to improve product reliability and customer satisfaction. The position supports continuous improvement activities within the Return & Repair organization. Your Responsibilities • Performing failure analysis on customer returned devices and PCBAs. • Carrying out component-level and device-level debugging activities & testing. • Analyzing hardware and firmware related failures. • Coordinating with Manufacturing, R&D, Customer Support, Suppliers, and Global Repair Centers for root-cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions. • Maintaining repair, failure analysis, and SAP related records, Preparing monthly and quarterly repair and customer return reports. • Applying structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, CAPA, Supporting implementation of corrective and preventive actions for recurring failures. • Ensuring compliance with IPC-A-610, ESD, and quality process requirements. • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the Return & Repair function. Your Profile • Degree / Diploma in Electronics / Electrical Engg. • 3–6 years of experience in electronics repair, failure analysis, or quality engineering • Experience in component/device-level debugging, Understanding of electronic circuit diagrams device architecture. • Product Knowledge (Preferred)Knowledge of Siemens Protection & Automation products such as (SICAM A8000, REYROLLE, SIPROTEC). Understanding of switchgear and power network applications will be an added advantage. • Knowledge of quality tools such as 8D, Ishikawa, PDCA • Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and ESD guidelines. • Knowledge of firmware upgrade and WUPS testing activities. • Advanced computer skills (MS Office tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) • Exposure to SAP systems is preferred.
