We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, Cloud Native development and Angular. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable, 
high-performance applications, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver modern, secure, and reliable software solutions as part of Philips Serviceability Platform. The Software Engineer is responsible for designing technology solutions aligned with business requirements, ensuring adherence to specified standards and guidelines to maintain consistency, quality, and alignment with organizational objectives, working under general supervision. The role contributes to designing and developing scalable, reusable, and error-free code, supports build automation and configuration management efforts to streamline processes. The role participates in designing, developing, testing, validating, and integrating applications, executes test activities according to plan, encompassing preparation, creation, execution and closure
to ensure thorough testing and validation of solutions, meeting quality assurance criteria




Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices with strong focus on performance, scalability, and security.
• Implement Cloud Native architectures leveraging services in AWS.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and DevOps engineers to define and implement technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to improving development processes and tools.
• Integrate automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements for existing systems.
• Designs solutions based on business requirements in specific technology areas, 
ensuring adherence to defined standards and guidelines to maintain consistency, quality, 
and alignment with organizational goals.
• Assists in designing and developing scalable, reusable, defect-free, and first-time right 
code and configurations, to ensure robust and efficient solutions that meet organizational standards.
• Engages in the design, development, testing, validation, and integration of applications, and 
provide ongoing support and maintenance post go-live to ensure sustained application performance and reliability.
• Executes test activities according to plan, including preparation, creation, execution, and 
closure, to ensure comprehensive testing and validation of solutions, meeting quality assurance standards.
• Supports build automation and configuration management efforts, streamlining processes and 
enhancing efficiency in the development lifecycle, contributing to the overall improvement of 
operational workflows.
• Assists the IT Software Engineering Manager / IT Platform Manager in the timely provision of 
technical environments, ensuring readiness and availability for development and testing activities, 
thereby supporting project timelines.
• Demonstrates proficiency in assigned area of specialization and possess a solid understanding of 
related disciplines, ensuring a comprehensive approach to problem-solving and solution development.
• Participates in the full process of software development, working in pairing mode with other team 
members to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and enhanced solution quality.
• Maintains a comprehensive understanding of company products and services, ensuring that technical 
solutions are aligned with organizational objectives and customer needs.
• Interacts frequently with stakeholders to foster collaboration, ensuring that their needs and 
expectations are met while driving project success and stakeholder satisfaction.




You're the right fit if:





  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.



• 3+ years of experience in full stack development.
• Strong proficiency in Java 8+, Spring Boot, and REST API design.
• Hands-on experience with Angular (version 8 or above), TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Knowledge of Cloud Native development (preferably AWS).
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch).
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and API security (OAuth2, JWT).
• Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.




Preferred Skills




• Exposure to Cloud services (AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, etc.).
• Understanding of DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ location
