• Acts as a mentor and esteemed professional in System Engineering, recognized for expertise in enhancing system development and integration processes across supplier transfer excellence initiatives.
• Coordinates the review, quality assurance, and technical design aspects within the Supplier Transfer Excellence framework, ensuring adherence to established standards and specifications.
• Assists in the development of test strategies, ensures comprehensive test coverage, and evaluates test protocol effectiveness, while creating, reviewing, and refining reusable test designs and protocols.
• Implements different appropriate testing strategies and selects the most effective test design techniques to support seamless supplier transitions and maintain quality assurance throughout the process.
• Defines and establishes acceptance tests crucial for verifying requirements, ensuring shared responsibility across project scope, requirements management, and risk assessment.
• Develops comprehensive master test plans that encompass the entire system for supplier transfer excellence, ensuring thorough testing and validation across all components and functionalities.
• Reviews product requirements, designs and product changes from a test point of view and liaises with stakeholders resulting in a testable and maintainable systems and converts requirements into test designs.
• Optimizes supplier transfer processes and systems engineering for a simple product or a single component/subsystem within a complex system, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and quality standards.
• Collaborates closely with stakeholders to align expectations and mitigate potential risks, fostering a seamless transition of suppliers and maintaining stringent adherence to project specifications and quality standards.

You're the right fit if:
Job Description
1) Minimum-Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical with 14+ years’ experience in design and development, preferably from Medical Device.
2) As a System lead (Mechanical), you will safeguard the quality, reliability, and patient safety of Philips’ medical imaging systems—supporting clinicians to deliver precise and effective patient care across the globe.
3) You will be part of the STET DXR within the Lifecycle Management (LCM) Mechatronic Development. You will collaborate with colleagues across disciplines (electrical, electronics, mechatronics, compliance, validation, purchasing, and quality) as well as external suppliers and partners.
4) Demonstrated design experience in electro-mechanical product design and material selection. Proficiency in injection molded parts, sheet metal and structural part design.
5) Good understanding of manufacturing processes, GD&T, tolerancing, and design for manufacturability/assembly (DFM/DFA).
6) Experienced in Technical Risk Assessment/FMEA
7) Knowledgeable in product Verification/Validation (V&V)
8) Interpret gaps between physical samples and drawings, perform design changes in 3D model and drawings.
9) Should have working experience with the medical standards: IEC 60601-1, ISO 14971, ISO 13485
