Software Engineer II – Document AIAbout the Role

Ensures the quality, reliability, and scalability of software products through systematic testing, automation, and quality engineering practices. Develops, maintains, and delivers test plans, test cases, and automated test frameworks for functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing. Analyzes requirements, software architecture, logs, and test results to identify defects and drive quality improvements.


Collaborates closely with engineering and product teams to solve issues, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure successful product releases. Contributes to automation infrastructure, CI/CD quality processes, and testing standard methodologies. For AI-powered workflows and services, validates functionality, workflows, and data-driven outcomes to deliver a high-quality customer experience.


What You'll Do
  • Test AI-powered features and workflows within the Document AI product ecosystem.


  • Participate in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirement analysis, test planning, estimation, execution, automation, release validation, and defect triaging.


  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and test suites for functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.


  • Validate APIs, backend services, and workflow integrations across cloud-based applications.


  • Implement functional and user-centric test scenarios manually whenever required.


  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other collaborators to ensure high-quality product releases.


  • Analyze logs, solve issues, perform root-cause analysis, and help improve overall product quality.


  • Contribute to continuous quality improvements by identifying automation opportunities and process enhancements.


  • Work as part of a highly motivated Agile team operating in fast-paced release cycles.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.


  • 2+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering, Test Automation


  • Strong programming and scripting skills in Python. Experience with Java, JavaScript, or C/C++ is a plus.


  • Good understanding of software testing methodologies including functional, Integration, System, Regression, Acceptance, and Performance Testing.


  • Experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks and test infrastructure.


  • Good understanding of CI/CD concepts and hands-on experience with tools such as Jenkins or similar automation platforms.


  • Ability to read, understand, and debug code to identify quality issues early in the development lifecycle.


  • Good understanding of Windows and macOS platforms; Linux knowledge is a plus.


  • Familiarity with REST APIs, web services, and cloud-based applications.


  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.


Nice to Have
  • Exposure to AI/ML-powered applications, model validation, or data-driven testing.


  • Experience with observability and analytics platforms such as Splunk, Power BI, Adobe Analytics, Grafana, or similar tools.


  • Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.


  • Hands-on experience with Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, OpenCV, PyTest, or similar frameworks.


  • Experience testing cloud-native applications and microservices architectures.
