Supervise and execute site electrical works including DC stringing, inverter installation, ACDB/DCDB erection, cable laying, termination, and earthing.
Ensure all electrical activities are carried out as per approved drawings, SLDs, technical specifications, and site instructions.
Monitor daily site activities and ensure proper deployment of manpower and tools.
Supervise DC and AC electrical installations in solar power plants.
Carry out and record electrical tests such as IR, continuity, polarity, and earthing resistance tests.
Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities under senior engineer guidance.
Coordinate with civil engineers, QA/QC, and EHS teams for smooth execution of site works.
Liaise with contractors and technicians to resolve site-level execution issues.
Coordinate with inverter OEM teams during installation and testing.
Ensure quality of electrical works meets project standards and specifications.
Follow and enforce electrical safety practices, PPE usage, and site safety guidelines.
Report non-conformances and unsafe conditions to senior engineers.
Track site progress and prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPRs).
Update senior engineers on work status, material requirements, and site constraints.
Assist in monitoring receipt, storage, and usage of electrical materials at site.
Support preparation of as-built drawings and handover documents.
Diploma / Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering.
2–4 years of site experience in electrical works, preferably in solar power or EPC projects.
Hands-on knowledge of solar plant electrical systems (AC & DC).
Ability to read and interpret SLDs, GA drawings, and wiring diagrams.
Strong site coordination and communication skills.
