Job Summary



We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in ServiceNow, hands-on & prior experience implementing ServiceNow modules like ITSM, CSM, ITOM along with strong ServiceNow technical platform foundation skills. The candidate should bring solid technical depth in ServiceNow development and integrations along with strong functional knowledge of areas like Customer Service, Asset Management and Service Management. Candidate will be responsible for the overall architecture, design and implement major solutions in ServiceNow at Equinix




Responsibilities



  • Engages in scrum meetings and activities



  • Participates and leads architectural reviews and end-to-end process



  • Understand business requirements and proposes ServiceNow solutions



  • Owns development and delivery of the ServiceNow solutions



  • Owns Design and build of integrations with ServiceNow



  • Conducts design reviews and provides technical leadership



  • Works with stakeholder for architectural decisions and solutions



  • Ensure adherence to code quality, unit testing, and security standards



  • Maintain architectural standard, process, and documentation




Qualifications



  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or technology or equivalent field



  • 8+ years of industry-proven overall technology experience, with minimum of 5+ years with ServiceNow development experience



  • Proven / Hands-on experience in delivering ServiceNow solutions




Skills



  • Advanced level of experience and knowledge with ServiceNow Platform



  • Strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow development



  • Strong technical knowledge (UI Actions, Imports, transforms, menus, workflows, catalogue requests, etc.)



  • Strong technical knowledge (Scripting, Business Rules, jobs, etc.)



  • Experience with Web services, Integration protocols, integration hub/spokes, SOAP/REST-based APIs 



  • Well versed with ITSM concepts (change, problem, incidents)



  • Understanding of CSM (Customer Service Management) in ServiceNow



  • Strong knowledge of AngularJS, JavaScript, client-server scripting in ServiceNow



  • Knowledge or experience with mid-server, CMDB, discovery will be an advantage



  • Knowledge or experience with event management will be an advantage



  • Knowledge or experience in Service Portal development will be an advantage




Differentiator skills



  • ServiceNow Certified professional



  • Very strong integration skills with ServiceNow



  • Analytical data skills. ServiceNow dashboard and reporting



  • AI and ML skills with or outside of ServiceNow
