You'll work on cutting-edge algorithmic advances and software architecture while collaborating with senior engineers to deliver production-quality components. Key Responsibilities Contribute to core algorithmic advances and software design/architecture for the QuestaSim R&D platform Collaborate with senior software engineers to ensure production-level quality of new components and algorithms Design and develop new simulation engines while maintaining and enhancing existing code Work independently and as part of a dynamic team, setting personal goals and driving consistent progress Guide team members toward project completion and support knowledge sharing across the team Apply strong problem-solving and analytical skills to complex simulation challenges Qualifications Required Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics and Communication Engineering from a reputed engineering college 2-7 years of relevant software development experience Strong proficiency in C/C++, algorithms, and data structures Solid understanding of compiler concepts and optimizations Experience with UNIX and/or LINUX platforms Basic knowledge of digital electronics concepts Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Preferred Knowledge of Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL Experience with parallel algorithms and job distribution Understanding of machine learning/AI algorithms and their implementation in data-driven tasks Exposure to simulation or formal verification methodologies Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and guide others Why Us At Siemens Software, flexibility is how we work—hybrid by default, built on trust and autonomy.
