Leading and developing a suitable team to meet the customer projects wrt Electrical Design Collect all mandatory inputs like SLD, utility requirements (metering, protection philosophy, bus scheme), Short-circuit levels, Load list, Site data, Interfaces, Reliability requirement, Standards Prepare Design Basis Report (DBR), inclusive of, Technology: AIS/GIS, insulation level, creepage requirements, Bus scheme selection rules, Protection philosophy and redundancy, Earthing design assumptions, Cable design philosophy Able to establish System Studies & Key Electrical Parameters, like Short-circuit & switching studies, Load flows, Bus Scheme & Bay Selection Primary Equipment Sizing, Disconnectors / Isolators & Earthing Switches, Instrument Transformers (CTs, CVTs/PTs), Lightning Arresters, Circuit Breaker (220 kV), Power Transformers (interface to LV auxiliaries), LV Switchgear (440 V), HV/MV/LV switchgear, MCC / PCC panels, UPS & battery systems Earthing (Grounding) & Lightning Protection Protection & Control Engineering, Control & interlocking, Protection drawings, Relay settings & coordination Cable Engineering (Sizing → Routing → Scheduling): Cable sizing (current + voltage drop), Tray/trench design, Routing layout Perform independent reviews of work performed by others including calculations and drawing preparation Developing electric substation drawings, including single line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams and physical drawings; such as plan views, elevation views, control panel layouts, control building layouts Experience with Protection & Controls design, schematic diagrams, grounding, and one-line diagrams Develop preliminary scope of work based on project summary/description provided Experience with Protection & Controls design, schematic diagrams, grounding, and one-line diagrams Ability and willingness to travel to clients' construction sites as needed with in short notice Design & Simulation : AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ETAP, Regulatory Knowledge : NEC, IEEE Standards.
