We are looking for a Senior Requirements Engineer You’ll make a difference by: Job Summary The Senior Software Requirements Engineer is responsible for deriving, specifying, and maintaining software requirements from approved system requirements for safety‑critical systems, including SIL‑2 and SIL‑4 applications. The role ensures that software requirements are correct, complete, traceable, and verifiable, in compliance with defined lifecycle processes and applicable safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Derive and document software requirements based on system requirements Create and maintain Software Requirement Specifications (SRS) for safety‑critical systems Ensure requirements are unambiguous, testable, and audit‑ready Maintain bidirectional traceability between system requirements, software requirements, and verification artifacts Participate in formal requirement reviews, safety reviews, and audits Perform impact analysis for requirement changes under controlled configuration management Collaborate with system engineering, development, testing, quality, and safety teams Provide requirement evidence and traceability support during audits and assessments Required Skills & Experience 5–8 years of experience in software requirements engineering Proven experience in SIL‑2 and/or SIL‑4 safety‑critical projects Strong experience in System → Software requirement derivation Good understanding of V‑Model–based development lifecycle Experience with requirements / ALM tools (e.g., Polarion, DOORS, Jira) Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills Preferred Domains Aerospace Railways / Transportation Healthcare / Medical Systems Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or Electronics & Telecommunication (E&TC) Engineering Your success is grounded in: 5-8 years of experience is required.
