Role Overview

Lead and guide a team responsible for designing and delivering innovative business intelligence (BI) and data-driven solutions that meet current and future business needs. This position combines functional knowledge with technical expertise to develop robust analytics and machine learning applications.

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable data-driven solutions for analytics and machine learning.

  
  
  

• Deliver high-quality data science models aligned with defined performance and quality standards.

  
  
  

• Drive process improvements and enhance methodologies within the data science function.

  
  
  

• Collaborate with stakeholders across different functions to maintain transparency and alignment.

  
  
  

• Coordinate with global teams, providing project updates and proactively identifying potential risks.

  
  
  

• Oversee delivery of critical data science projects, ensuring timeliness and quality.

  
  
  

• Serve as the main point of contact for data-related initiatives, ensuring business requirements are met.

  
  
  

• Guide, mentor, and develop team members, fostering an inclusive and growth-oriented environment.

  
  
  

• Partner with Product Management and Business teams to define priorities and create impactful data solutions.

  
  
  

• Typically 10+ years of relevant professional experience in data science or analytics, with background in leadership roles.

  
  
  

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or an equivalent field.

  
  
  

• Expertise in data-driven architecture, design, and implementation of scalable solutions for enterprise applications.

  
  
  

• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and familiarity with cloud-based analytics (AWS, Azure, GCP).

  
  
  

• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and libraries such as pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn.

  
  
  

• Knowledge of data modeling, ETL, data warehousing, and big data technologies.

  
  
  

• Familiarity with agile and waterfall methodologies in the product development lifecycle.

  
  
  

• Understanding of emerging trends in AI/ML, cloud solutions, and data engineering platforms like Databricks or Azure ML.
