As a Senior Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the estimation of projects, contributing significantly to our commitment to quality and innovation in the construction industry.
About the Role The Senior Estimator will be responsible for managing and supervising the estimation process for various projects, ensuring accurate and timely cost assessments.
You will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other departments to provide comprehensive estimates that reflect project scope and requirements.
Your key responsibilities will include: Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects by analyzing drawings, specifications, and project scope.
Review bid documents and project specifications to develop accurate and competitive bids.
Conduct vendor and subcontractor procurement to obtain competitive pricing.
Participate in project budget development and financial forecasting.
Coordinate with teams to ensure alignment on project scope and cost parameters.
Identify potential risks in the estimation process and proactively communicate with stakeholders.
Maintain a detailed database of historical costs and estimates for future reference.
Assist with post-bid analysis to improve accuracy and efficiency in future estimates.
Provide training and mentorship to junior estimators and staff.
Stay updated with industry trends and innovative practices that could impact project costing.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating for commercial and residential construction projects.
Extensive knowledge of aluminum systems and facade construction is highly desirable.
Proficiency in cost estimation software and MS Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
