Job description

About the role:

The current portfolio of enterprise transformation programs, including STEP/HANA migrations, Salesforce, SAP S/4HANA, TeamMate EU, TAA, Belgium, Poland, and broader EU platform consolidations, has increased significantly in scale, complexity, and business criticality.

This position is required to provide hands-on architectural and engineering leadership across these initiatives, ensuring solutions are aligned to business outcomes, enterprise standards, integration strategy, governance expectations, and future-state architecture. The role will also help accelerate emerging AI, automation, agentic workflow, and data product initiatives by ensuring they are designed, integrated, governed, and operationalized safely and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on technical leadership across enterprise transformation programs, including SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, Informatica, and custom applications.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable end-to-end solution designs, data flows, integration patterns, and architecture decisions.
  • Partner with Enterprise Architects, product teams, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to align delivery with target-state architecture.
  • Strengthen architecture governance through design reviews, reusable patterns, documentation, standards, and alignment to WK technology principles.
  • Lead and support cross-platform integrations, ensuring consistency in APIs, data movement, system interactions, security, and operational resilience.
  • Contribute to AI agent,  automation, and data product initiatives by shaping solution architecture, integration models, data readiness, and governance controls.
  • Build proof of concepts where needed to validate technical feasibility, emerging technologies, AI-enabled workflows, and modernization opportunities.
  • Help resolve complex technical challenges across development, integration, deployment, performance, and production support.
  • Improve decision velocity by creating clear architecture options, trade-off analysis, diagrams, implementation guidance, and stakeholder-ready recommendations.

Required Skills

  • Strong enterprise software engineering experience with Java, Python, C#, or similar programming languages.
  • Experience designing enterprise-scale solutions across distributed systems, APIs, microservices, integrations, and cloud-enabled platforms.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, data flows, data models, data products, analytics platforms, and enterprise data governance.
  • Nice to have - exposure to platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, Informatica, or comparable enterprise systems.
  • Ability to design and govern integration patterns across packaged platforms, custom applications, and enterprise data platforms.
  • Working knowledge of AI/LLM agents, Copilot-style enablement, intelligent automation, or practical AI use cases in enterprise environments.
  • Strong debugging, performance optimization, testing, deployment, and technical documentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical decisions clearly to engineering teams, architects, product leaders, and business stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to influence across teams, build consensus, and drive architecture alignment without relying on direct authority.
