They have also invested into Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), which is an investment into manufacturing and deployment of cutting-edge storage infrastructure to help shape a more sustainable and resilient energy future for India.



An Ideal Candidate:



The candidate is required to possess experience in BESS/BMS Embedded development within the Automotive/Automobile sector



Key Competencies:



· Define and develop end-to-end BESS architecture from cell → module → pack → rack → container



· Evaluate and select battery cells based on energy density, lifecycle, safety, and market trends



· Design and develop module, pack, rack, and container-level integration solutions



· Ensure compatibility with PCS, EMS, and overall system infrastructure




Mechanical & Structural Design



  • Lead detailed design of internal layouts, busbars, cooling systems, insulation, and enclosures
  • Design load-bearing structures considering transportation, seismic, vibration, shock, and lifting requirements
  • Perform structural, thermal, and vibration analysis using simulation tools
  • Ensure tolerance stack-ups, DFM (Design for Manufacturing), and DFA (Design for Assembly)

Thermal Management & Safety



  • Develop and optimize battery cooling solutions at pack and container levels
  • Ensure cell temperature uniformity and efficient thermal distribution
  • Design for thermal runaway mitigation, including venting, gas exhaust paths, and propagation prevention
  • Integrate fire safety systems, gas detection, and emergency response mechanisms
