Critical Care as one of three therapy verticals delivers acute renal therapies for critically ill patients in intensive care units. The vertical’s mission is to support clinicians managing acute kidney injury and multi-organ failure by providing rapid, reliable access to life-saving treatments.


Cross-functional teams—including R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, and Commercial—collaborate to develop advanced solutions that meet the urgent and complex needs of ICU environments, improving survival and recovery outcomes. Responsibility:


Your Responsibilities:
 


Lead the national sales team for critical care to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
Lead critical care business strategy, spearhead revenue growth and market share expansion through strategic regional planning. Execute business development initiatives, expanding into newer markets.


Collaborate cross-functionally for critical care portfolio expansion, building key relationships and providing leadership to the sales and clinical teams to ensure successful strategy execution.

Dotted line reporting: 7-8 (Critical Care Specialist team)


Additionally, establish CRRT business footprint, formulation of business strategy, driving revenue and market share goals through regional planning initiatives, team establishment and promotional campaigns.


  • Strategic Planning


  • Develop and implement area/regional strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share goals for critical care business (CRRT and Heart & Lung)


  • Conduct thorough business planning to assess revenue potential within identified business opportunities in critical care


  • Analyze and review market responses, providing insights to the sales team for effective decision-making.


  • Monitor market trends, conduct competitor analysis, and develop strategies to achieve market share metrics.


  • Focus on the penetration and upgradation of therapies in the market


  • Business Development


  • Formulate and execute strategies to explore and expand into untapped market segments.


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on critical care portfolio expansion opportunities.


  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners.


  • Provide leadership and direction to the sales and clinical team to ensure effective execution of strategies.

  • Proven experience in strategic planning, business development, and market analysis.


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.


  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.


  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth and achieve business targets.


  • Knowledge of industry trends and competitor dynamics.


  • Results-oriented with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes.


  • Science graduate, MBA preferable


  • Minimum 10 - 15 years in sales & business development. 


  • Should have prior experience of handling Sales in concerned entire zone.


  • Strong people management skills should have handled a large team in prior experiences.
