We are seeking a talented individual to join our – Facultative Reinsurance team at Marsh Risk India, a Marsh business. This role will be based in Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office


Relationship Manager- Facultative Reinsurance


We will count on you to:


  • Responsible to handle reinsurance placement for Energy, Construction and Property risks in India and all lines in neighbouring nations.
  • Reinsurer & Cedant management (India / neighbouring nations) to deliver best results for clients.
  • Develop new business and retain existing ones to achieve expected profitable growth.
  • Proactive participation with internal service providers to maximise client service
  • Visit cedants & reinsurers for Indian / neighbouring nation risks regularly to ensure continuous engagement, enhance relationships and develop new business.
  • Proficiency on placement activities, endorsement processing, claims advocacy and overall account servicing.

What you need to have:


  • MBA from a reputed B - School.
  • 3+ years of Proven working experience in General insurance industry/ Non-Life Insurance Broker.
  • Ability to manage diverse client cultures of Indian Corporate, MNC Corporation and PSU clients. 
  • Corporate Relationship Management / Business Solution Provider from a service background.
  • Domain Knowledge necessary, specially aviation, aerospace and reinsurance.
  • Knowledge of property and engineering lines is an added plus 
  • Technical Skills
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
