Job Title : Quality Inspector


In this role, you have the opportunity to


Support the MR Service & Installation Quality organization by driving operational excellence, maintaining process discipline, and enabling right‑first‑time performance throughout the installation of MR systems.


You are responsible for


The Quality Inspector plays a critical role in:


  • Ensuring high‑quality, compliant, and efficient MR system installations review across global regions.


  • Coordinates daily quality activities to ensure alignment with MR operational goals.


  • Monitoring and analyzing quality and service KPIs, supporting the development of quality policies, and ensuring adherence to Philips QMS and regulatory standards applicable to MR systems.


  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders such as Field Service, Installation teams, Ops Quality, Engineering, and Service organization  by enforcing quality standards, supporting risk assessments, and strengthening compliance with work instructions, Quality procedures, and installation readiness requirements.


You are a part of


MR Service and Installation Quality team, enabling MR Service and supporting MR Installation team.


To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Sciences, or a related field.


  • 2–4 years of experience in the healthcare industry in Quality, Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, or related roles, with exposure to continuous improvement, operational excellence, or service delivery management.


  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and quality systems (e.g., ISO 13485, ISO 9001) is an advantage.


  • Ability to establish operational objectives, develop structured work plans, and coordinate daily quality activities


  • Experience monitoring, analyzing, and acting on quality and service KPIs


  • Capability to resolve complex installation and service quality issues using structured problem‑solving methods


  • Demonstrated strong ownership and sound judgment, with the ability to proactively identify gaps, navigate ambiguity, and drive alignment and resolution across multiple stakeholders.


  • Self‑starter with a structured mindset; analytically strong and results‑driven.


  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.


  • Clear, logical, and critical thinking skills.


  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.


  • Strong execution capability, with focus on delivering outcomes.


  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.


How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
