Amazon’s PXT HR (formerly HR4HR) organization is seeking an L6 HR Leader in Hyderabad to provide strategic and hands-on organizational support directly to key PXT L8 HR Directors in APAC across different business lines. We are seeking an experienced HR leader who will demonstrate business acumen, innovative thinking, and have deep knowledge and experience working in APAC countries and global multi country exposure is a plus.
To be successful in this role, you will help senior PXT leaders look around corners, and across lines of business, with data-driven recommendations for innovative programs as well as iterate on current programs to improve performance, retention and the employee experience. You must have the ability to see patterns, diagnose issues, and recommend and develop both immediate and long-term solutions and mechanisms. This includes partnering with business leaders to shape the talent, workforce, and total rewards strategies as well as operational processes and systems needed to support unique business models and build an environment where employees can develop, contribute and thrive. This role will require you to roll up your sleeves and engage on a hands-on basis. High business acumen, manager coaching and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Role would involve travel as needed within India and APAC countries and flexibility to work across different timezones including coordinating with the global PXT HRBP team in Americas.
Key job responsibilities
• Serve as the APAC Regional HRBP leader for PXT organizations
• Partner with L8+ and key leadership to drive results and look around corners.
• Partner with the broader PXT HR Team globally to influence, lead and/or create scalable solutions and mechanisms for PXT. Ability to work in matrixed environment.
• Partner with central PXT teams, such as Talent Management, on systemic and scalable programs including building mechanisms of structured Org health reviews to help with org health
• Function as a thought partner and coach to key leaders and their respective organizations
• Engage in the business strategic planning to translate business needs into a people agenda and effective organizational design.
• Lead annual PXT talent management cycles relating to Talent and Performance Management, Compensation Management, Succession Planning, and Leadership Development for the organization
•Use strong analytical skills to tell the story around the operational metrics and supporting data and provide actionable insights to raise the bar on organizational performance and drive path-to-green plans as needed.
• Communicate across global stakeholders at all levels and be able to support PXT teams in delivering outcomes for their businesses and customers
- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of Significant experience in core HR with broad knowledge and experience in human resource management (HRBP experience mandatory)
- Relevant experience/broad knowledge working as an HR professional in supporting multiple APAC countries
- Experience managing projects
- · Master's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field is preferred.
- ·Experience influencing leaders in a highly matrixed organization
- · Strong analytical skills, including the understanding of metrics to support plans and monitor performance
- · Excellent written and verbal communication to prepare high quality documents to influence strategy · Experience assessing management and executive talent.
- · Implemented data-based systematic improvements in how HR delivers the HR agenda
- · Experience in assessing, creating and implementing innovative solutions to increase engagement, retention and development of HR teams -Experience leading/managing small teams
