Detailed Job Description
The lead Salesforce Technical Architect (TA) is accountable for the end-to-end design of the Finastra Salesforce instance/s. The role is accountable for developing the Finastra Salesforce technical strategy, roadmap, integration and implementation strategy. The role will support our objective to simplify & automate our Salesforce footprint and ensure that we deliver a world-class user experience to Finastra employees. Interacting with users and stakeholders across various business functions, this role will drive delivery of business priorities using Salesforce capabilities.
Key responsibilities
Solution Architecture and Design: Design enterprise level salesforce solutions, architecture and implementation strategies.
Design data models, integrations patterns, AI strategy & security models aligned to Finastra and Salesforce best practices.
Leads the technical design and development of Salesforce, ensuring they meet requirements and align with strategic direction.
Defines and champions technical standards, principles, and best practices.
Identifies and mitigates technical risks and issues.
Governance and Standards: Define and enforce coding standards, Dev Ops processes and technical documentation.
Develop relationships with members of the Enterprise Technology & Operations leadership team to ensure delivery of strategic objectives of simplification & automation.
Ensure the delivery of projects are completed to a suitable level of quality, on time, within scope, and within budget.
Work in conjunction with the Enterprise Applications leadership team to ensure delivery of business plan objectives.
Identify and mitigate business & technology risks / issues, proactively seeking solutions to keep projects on track. Escalate to senior leadership as needed.
Work closely with developers to resolve issues as and when they arise.
Support in strategic planning activities across the team to support initiatives for the Enterprise Technology & Operations team.
Work closely with the M&A team to define acquisition and divest strategies related to salesforce platform.
