This is a high-impact leadership role requiring strong operational expertise, people management capabilities, and a deep understanding of US payroll and compliance frameworks.
You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring regulatory adherence, and optimizing workforce productivity across large teams.
The role demands a strategic yet hands-on leader who can manage end-to-end operations, implement efficient processes, and build high-performing teams.
You will work closely with internal leadership, HR service partners, and global stakeholders to deliver consistent, compliant, and high-quality outcomes while continuously improving operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities Lead, manage, and scale large teams (150–200 employees) across HR, payroll, benefits, and compliance functions.
Oversee end-to-end US payroll operations, ensuring strict adherence to federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
Manage benefits administration, including health, retirement, and leave programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Partner with HR service organizations and external vendors to optimize service delivery and workforce efficiency.
Design and implement standardized processes, SOPs, and automation initiatives to improve operational performance.
Drive process optimization initiatives to enhance accuracy, reduce turnaround time, and improve productivity.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure consistent service excellence.
Develop and present MIS reports and operational dashboards to provide insights into performance, risks, and opportunities.
Manage escalations effectively while maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.
Ensure full compliance with US labor laws, payroll regulations, and data security standards.
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and employee engagement within the team.
What Makes You a Great Fit 15+ years of experience in operations, with significant exposure to US HR, payroll, benefits, and payroll tax compliance.
Proven ability to manage and lead large teams in a high-volume, process-driven environment.
