About the Role



Our unit G-EVC/MA serves clients and partners with a custom and market business model.



Key targets are the identification of opportunities, converting opportunities into business through technical dialogue with customers and selling value of BASF technology and capability, as well as building and maintaining partnerships and client interactions aimed at growth in India and South Asia.




How You Will Do It



  • Identify new industry trends and partnerships, grow lead pipeline and develop leads to opportunities
  • Build and grow relationships with new customers including major chemical/petrochemical companies, international process licensors, engineering companies, research institutes as well as start-up companies with the target to deliver both top-line and bottom-line results within a cross-functional team and matrix organization.
  • Plan and execute marketing communication activities and consistently drive marketing messages into appropriate channels such as social media, press, conferences, advertisements and other publications
  • Coordinate and align with the global team to provide technical and commercial offers to customers in India and South Asia including Bangladesh and Pakistan.
  • Build and grow position as technology leader by increasing understanding of customers processes and operating conditions as well as competitive developments - document respective findings
  • Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality to safeguard Intellectual Property (IP) and know-how owned by third party customers and IP/know-how owned jointly with BASF

What We Look For



  • Master degree or above in chemical engineering or chemistry.
  • Working Experience: Min. 5 years of technical experience in the field of chemical catalysts, chemical/petrochemical process design or production.
  • Technical & Professional Knowledge: Experience with customer interaction; Good communication skills, team player able to work across organizational boundaries.
  • Have strong customer focus and excellent communication skills in English (both speaking and writing).
  • Be able to work under pressure and motivated to achieve success together as a team.
