The Position is responsible for providing Techno-commercial offers and closing sales numbers for Business. He / She would also be responsible for Sales & Marketing of the Products, ensuring the Spec-in of the products and create new customer base. The position will also be responsible for Gujarat region and depending on experience of candidate can be extended to other region as well.
• Key Account Management – Managing Key End users / System Integrators / OEM / EPC accounts in the Region.
• Building relationship, engagement with sales, proposal, project and engineering team, on-time technical and commercial support.
• Local and global project product positioning, solution, and pricing strategy to increase market share.
• Maintain and increase End user business with early engagement in project and pre-bid support.
• Effective project tracking – interaction with different regional team, identify the stake holders, spec-in of MTL Device range of products. Ensure MTL Device products are in AVL and specifications are considered in all projects.
• Technical and Application Engineering: Thorough technical knowledge on Hazardous area process control instrumentation, foundation fieldbus technology, latest trends in Automation.
• Plan presentation to end-users, EPC, PMC.
• Market diversification for Surge Protection products in Safe City / Rail / Metro vertical.
• 15-20 years + experience in a sales function with firsthand knowledge of India customers, focusing on present and future target markets – Oil & Gas vertical / Chemical / Paint / Pharma vertical
• Knowledge on Interface technology / DCS or PLC architecture / Knowledge on Hazardous area protection techniques / Field Instrumentation devices
• Evidence of success in building and maintaining Key Customer relationships
• Capable of developing and executing support strategies
• Knowledge of Oil & Gas industry relevant standards, process control instrumentation
• Degree qualified with an engineering bias (Instrumentation / Electronics / B.Tech)
