About the Role:


The role involves working on critical, high-availability payment systems running on mainframe platforms to ensure stability, security, and uninterrupted service.


What you will be doing :


  • Work on Credit, Debit, and Prepaid card processing systems.
  • Quickly resolve production issues and perform thorough root cause analysis (RCA).
  • Enhance system stability and reduce recurring incidents.
  • Participate in system resiliency and disaster recovery (DR) activities.
  • Automate manual processes wherever possible.
  • Use monitoring tools to track performance, alerts, and system health.
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams during issue investigations.

What you bring :


  • 8 to 13 years’ experience in Mainframe Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support banking applications related to Credit Cards, Debit Cards, and Prepaid Cards.
  • Good Experience in CICS,DB2,JCL,VSAM,COBOL
  • Good Experience in automation.
  • Proficiency in data monitoring tools.
  • Knowledge of high availability and system resiliency concepts.
  • Ability to handle critical production incidents independently.

Added bonus if you have :


  • Knowledge of REXX
  • Knowledge of Assembler
