Function (About the Global L&D Team at Puma Energy)


  • The Global L&D team designs and delivers learning solutions that accelerate capability building and drive consistent ways of working across markets. We partner with business leaders and SMEs to translate business priorities into scalable digital and classroom learning, eventually aiming to maintain a central content library, and measure learning impact through data and analytics.

Key Responsibilities


  • Convert existing instructor-led decks and L&D materials into engaging video-based learning content
  • Design and develop interactive e-learning modules, microlearning videos and explainer animations aligned to learning objectives
  • Create storyboards, scripts, voiceover briefs and visual designs for each module in collaboration with SMEs
  • Package content to be LMS-ready (SCORM/xAPI) and publish/upload to Odoo with accurate metadata, course structure, and learner access settings
  • Create assessments, knowledge checks and evaluation surveys for each module; set up completion criteria and certificates
  • Ensure content meets accessibility, branding and localization requirements (closed captions, multilingual handoffs)
  • Manage version control, file storage and maintain a searchable content library
  • Adhere to project timelines, deliverables and escalate risks and dependencies.

Experience


  • 3–6 years of experience in e-learning development, instructional design or multimedia content production.
  • Demonstrable portfolio of video-based learning modules, microlearning assets or e-learning courses.
  • Proven experience publishing to an LMS (SCORM/xAPI); experience with Odoo is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with global stakeholders and managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Experience using authoring tools and video editing software in a production workflow.

Skills


  • Instructional design: building / converting ILT content to engaging digital learning with clear learning objectives
  • E‑learning authoring: Articulate Storyline/Rise, Adobe Captivate, Colossyan or similar
  • LMS administration: SCORM packages, uploading and configuring courses in Odoo or other LMS
  • Basic graphic design: Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/Canva for assets
  • Strong writing and storyboard development skills
  • Data literacy: basic analytics to interpret learner engagement
  • Attention to detail for QA and compliance with brand and accessibility standards

  • Primary focus: digitalizing existing decks and L&D content into high-quality video format and publishing to Odoo LMS. This includes scripting, storyboarding, developing/editing, creating interactive elements, testing and publishing
  • Contract length: 6-month fixed term. Possibility of extension subject to business needs and performance
  • Location & hours: On-site in Mumbai (same office as supervisor). Some flexibility for virtual meetings with global stakeholders
