As a Product Owner, you will set priorities for the squad and groom the Product Backlog to ensure the most valuable and time-critical items are at the top. You will interact with the Iteration Manager/Scrum Master, Development Team, and Client to understand the product and translate it into priorities for the squad. Your primary responsibilities will include: * Prioritize Product Backlog: Place the most valuable and time-critical items at the top of the backlog to ensure the squad is working on the most important tasks. This requires understanding the product, the client's needs, and the squad's capabilities. * Collaborate with Stakeholders: Interact with the Iteration Manager/Scrum Master, Development Team, and Client to ensure everyone is aligned on priorities and progress. * Translate Client Needs: Understand the client's requirements and translate them into actionable priorities for the squad to deliver. * Manage Product Understanding: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the product to make informed decisions about priorities and backlog management. * Lead Squad Priorities: Set clear priorities for the squad to ensure they are working on the most valuable and time-critical tasks.
* Product Backlog Management: Experience with prioritizing and grooming product backlogs to ensure alignment with client needs and squad capabilities. * Stakeholder Collaboration: Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Iteration Managers/Scrum Masters, Development Teams, and Clients to drive shared understanding and progress. * Client Requirements Translation: Experience with translating client needs into actionable priorities for squads to deliver, requiring a deep understanding of the product and client requirements. * Product Knowledge Development: Experience in developing and maintaining a thorough understanding of products to inform priority decisions and backlog management. * Squad Leadership: Experience in leading squads by setting clear priorities to ensure focus on high-value and time-critical tasks.
* Agile Methodologies Knowledge: Experience with Agile principles and practices, such as Scrum, to effectively manage Product Backlogs and collaborate with Iteration Managers/Scrum Masters and Development Teams. * Product Development Insight: Experience in understanding product development processes to make informed decisions about priorities and backlog management. * Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working with various stakeholders, including Clients, to drive shared understanding and progress.
