The Group Project Director is a strategic leadership position responsible for the end-to-end conceptualization, planning, and execution of a portfolio of large-scale trade shows and exhibitions.
This role carries full P&L responsibility and requires a visionary leader who can drive revenue through space sales, sponsorship, and new project launches while managing complex stakeholder relationships with ministries, industry bodies, and global key accounts.
Roles and Responsibilities (including but not limited to) : Ø  Brand Evolution : Conceptualize and execute long-term development plans for existing brands to maintain a #1 or #2 position in the Indian market.
Ø  New Launches : Identify market gaps and launch new brand shows, special pavilions, or additional service segments.
Ø  Financial Planning : Define overall budgets and mid-term plans (MTP); ensure the group operates within defined variances.
Ø  Target Achievement : Drive the sales team to meet aggressive targets for Sq.
Meterage, Revenue, Gross Profit, and Net Profit.
Ø  Performance Monitoring: Conduct weekly reviews of sales pipelines and ensure collection targets are met within stipulated timelines.
Ø  Key Account Management: Directly oversee relationships with "Anchor" exhibitors, ensuring their continued participation and significant contribution to revenue.
Ø  Lobbying & Alliances : Secure exclusive associations with key industry bodies, nodal agencies, R&D institutes, and relevant Government Ministries.
Ø  Content Leadership : Overlook the development of high-level seminar and conference content to establish the show as a thought-leadership platform.
Ø  End-to-End Execution : Monitor the operations team regarding layout planning, stall allocation, and conflict resolution.
Ø  Marketing & PR: Collaborate with the Marketing Head to design focused visitor promotion strategies and exhibitor recruitment campaigns.
Ø  Data Intelligence: Oversee the validation and analysis of exhibitor/visitor databases to drive data-backed decision-making.
    Candidate Requirements: • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience Sales & Project Management (Exhibitions/Media preferred) • Proven experience managing P&L and large-scale project budgets • Deep understanding of competitors, customer personas, and industry trends • Proficiency in English language both written and verbal.
• Ability to inspire large cross-functional teams and delegate effectively.
• Expert-level skills in closing high-value deals and building industry rapport.
• Decisiveness in high-pressure operational environments.
