This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 200000 - Rs 500000 (ie INR 2 - 5 LPA) Min Experience: 1 years Location: Bengaluru JobType: full-time We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Facility Supervisor to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of facilities.
The ideal candidate will ensure that all infrastructure, utilities, and services are functioning efficiently while maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.
This role requires strong supervisory capabilities, hands-on involvement in facility management (FM), and a keen eye for auditing and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise day-to-day facility operations including housekeeping, security, maintenance, and vendor services.
Ensure the upkeep of buildings, equipment, and common areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for repairs, maintenance schedules, and service delivery.
Monitor facility-related activities and ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of the premises to identify gaps, risks, or maintenance requirements.
Maintain records of facility operations, including maintenance logs, audit reports, and vendor performance evaluations.
Support in budgeting and cost control by tracking expenses and optimizing resource utilization.
Handle emergency situations efficiently, including equipment breakdowns, safety incidents, or service disruptions.
Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
Ensure proper inventory management of facility supplies and equipment.
Required Skills & Competencies: Strong supervisory skills with the ability to manage and guide on-ground teams effectively.
Basic understanding of Facility Management (FM) practices, including maintenance planning and vendor coordination.
Good auditing skills with attention to detail and the ability to identify operational gaps.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Effective communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors.
Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to handling facility-related issues.
Basic knowledge of safety standards and compliance requirements.
Good to Have Skills: Prior experience in a supervisory role within facility management or related domains.
Exposure to auditing processes, inspections, and compliance checks.
Familiarity with facility management tools or systems.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in any discipline (preferred in facilities management, engineering, or related field).
