We are seeking a skilledEngineering Technical Writerto create high-quality, developer-centric documentation that enables software engineers to effectively build, integrate, and scale our products. You will work closely with engineering, product, and developer experience teams to translate complex technical concepts into clear, accurate, and actionable content.



This role is ideal for someone who understands software development workflows and can connect with engineers in their language—through precise documentation, code examples, and structured technical content.



Key Responsibilities:



Documentation Development



  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including: 



  • API references



  • SDK guides and tutorials



  • Architecture overviews



  • Integration and onboarding guides



  • Troubleshooting and “how-to” content



  • Write clear, concise, and technically accurate content tailored to software engineers and developers



  • Develop structured documentation that supports discoverability and usability (e.g., modular content, reusable components)



Developer Experience (DX) Enablement



  • Produce practical, content (code snippets, walkthroughs, sample apps)



  • Ensure documentation aligns with developer workflows and real-world use cases



  • Advocate for developer usability in APIs and engineering designs through documentation feedback



Collaboration & multi-functional Work



  • Partner with software engineers, architects, product managers, and DevOps teams to capture technical information



  • Participate in sprint cycles, design reviews, and release planning to ensure documentation is accurate and timely



  • Act as a link between engineering teams and external/internal developer audiences



Content Quality & Governance



  • Maintain documentation standards, style guides, and guidelines



  • Review and edit technical content given by engineers



  • Ensure content is consistent, version-controlled, and aligned with product releases



Tooling & Automation



  • Use and lead documentation tools such as static site generators (e.g., Docusaurus,MkDocs), Markdown, Git-based workflows



  • Chip in to documentation pipelines (CI/CD for docs where applicable)



  • Optimize content for searchability (SEO and internal search)



Technical Skills we need from you



  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technical Communication, or related field (or equivalent experience) 



  • 3+ years of experience in technical writing for software or engineering audiences 



  • Strong understanding of software development concepts (APIs, microservices, cloud systems, REST/GraphQL, etc.) 



  • Proficiency in reading and writing code in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java, C#) 



  • Experience with developer documentation tools: 



  • Markdown and Git workflows



  • API documentation tools (e.g.,OpenAPI/Swagger)



  • Ability to quickly learn sophisticated technical systems and communicate them optimally.



Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience documenting APIs, SDKs, or developer platforms.



  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)



  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices



  • Knowledge of developer portals and documentation frameworks



  • Exposure to UX writing or developer experience design principles.
