We are looking for a Software Engineer to support Program Management team by building automation, data integrations, and internal tools that improve planning, tracking, and executive‑level transparency. This role focuses on developing scalable solutions across systems like Jira, Salesforce, and internal dashboards , enabling accurate program tracking, predictable execution, and efficient reporting. The ideal candidate enjoys working at the intersection of software engineering, data, and operations , and collaborates closely with Program Managers, Engineering, QA, IT, and PMO teams . Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain internal tools and automation to support effective program planning, tracking, and execution. Build and manage dashboards and reports that provide clear transparency into delivery health, milestones, risks, dependencies, and release readiness. Integrate data from Jira, Salesforce, and other internal systems to enable end‑to‑end tracking of customer issues, change requests, and delivery commitments. Automate manual reporting processes to reduce effort and improve efficiency for Program Managers. Develop scripts and lightweight services to standardize key program metrics, including delivery health, release status, blocker trends, estimation accuracy, and committed versus delivered scope. Work closely with Program Managers to translate process gaps into technical solutions that improve execution predictability. Support Agile ceremonies by maintaining tooling for sprint, milestone, and release tracking, while ensuring alignment with PMO governance, compliance, and reporting standards. Collaborate with Engineering and IT teams to ensure tools are reliable, scalable, and secure. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Master’s/PhD preferred). 2- 4 years of hands‑on experience building internal tools, automation, or data solutions . Strong coding skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar . Proven experience with Jira (workflows, APIs, dashboards). Exposure to automation, data integration, or ETL‑type workflows . Comfortable designing dashboards for operational/program tracking . Good understanding of Agile/Scrum and SDLC . Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross‑functionally . GOOD TO HAVE / PREFERRED Experience with Salesforce APIs or reporting . Exposure to internal tools, portals, or lightweight web apps . Familiarity with data visualization / BI tools . Understanding of Program Management / PMO processes . Experience supporting leadership or executive reporting . Exposure to AI technologies is a plus! Strong presentation and storytelling skills .
