Qualification & Requirements


  • Years of Experience: 8–10 years
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Telecommunications, or related engineering fields.

Job Responsibilities:


1. Tender & Technical Review


  • Study tender documents including specifications, drawings, schedules, and technical requirements.
  • Prepare accurate BOQs, quantity take-offs, I/O summaries, BOMs, cost sheets, and techno‑commercial proposals for IBMS, FAS, PAS, Security, Networking & ELV systems.
  • Ensure proposals are compliant with tender requirements and organizational standards.

2. System Design & Solution Engineering


  • Evaluate and select suitable products and OEMs based on project requirements and approved vendor lists.
  • Develop system architecture, device selection, and value-engineered solutions to improve competitiveness.
  • Prepare compliance statements and review engineering labor estimates as per defined guidelines.

3. Cross-Functional Coordination


  • Coordinate with design, sales, procurement, and project teams for technical clarifications and solution optimization.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and participate in pre‑sales and technical review meetings.
  • Work closely with procurement teams and vendors to get competitive pricing for material and labor.

4. Costing & Commercial Management


  • Ensure accurate costing for materials, labor, subcontracting, and system integration.
  • Maintain historical pricing databases, supplier quotations, and standard templates for future proposals.
  • Support bid preparation to ensure timely submission within tender deadlines.

5. Processes & Tools


  • Manage job booking and related processes in SAP.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to estimation workflows and internal processes.

Specific skills required


  • In-depth product knowledge in the IBMS, FAS, PAS, Security, Networking & ELV systems industry.
  • Proficiency in written English.
  • Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of design concepts for building security systems, including networking, servers, and other IT hardware.
  • Results-oriented with a strong focus on achieving targets.
  • Commitment to timely delivery of projects.
  • Extensive product knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems, Access Control Systems, BMS, PA, CCTV, and Physical Security from a broad range of OEMs.
  • Excellent negotiation skills for dealing with vendors.
  • Hands-on experience with AutoCAD is desirable.
