Your tasks and responsibilities: • You are responsible for change management and sustaining of electronic and mechatronic solutions in the field of HMI and Patient Handling Subsystems during MR examinations. • Together with our developers, internal and external partners, you prepare, manage and execute change requests in SAP, from analysis through implementation, ensuring compliance with internal processes and regulatory requirements. You request supplier quotations, align schedules, order and prepare materials for driving and conducting corresponding validation testing in the lab - and at MRI systems, too. • You take over full sustaining responsibility for selected HMI components, including cross-functional alignment with experts from risk management, regulatory,MR compatibility, SCM and suppliers. The sustaining activities include obsolescence planning, cost and quality optimization, problem analysis, solution implementation. • You also take on the necessary development documentation, including requirements engineering, creation of validation evidence, and support for risk management and regulatory approval. You will work with tools such as SAP, Polarion, and HP Quality Center. • You coordinate all steps not only with our developers but also with all stakeholders, global development sites, and internal and external service providers, partners, and suppliers. Your qualifications and experiencere: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical/electronics, mechatronics or medical engineering. • You have at least 6 years of professional experience in designing, maintaining, or R&D-related services of electronic or electromechanical components – preferably in the medical technology sector. • Expert knowledge in medical standards (especially IEC6061-1) and others relevant for HMI (e.g. laser standards) will be added advantage • You are willing to take end-to-end responsibility for planning, validation, and management of changes, reuse assessments, , further adaptions and improvements, supplier changes, and maintenance for electronic devices. • You demonstrate curiosity for the digitalization of our processes and products. You enjoy familiarizing yourself with relevant tools and technologies, actively exchanging knowledge within your network, and contribute to improvements and enhancements. • Strong planning and organizational skills, a confident demeanor, initiative, communication skills, customer orientation, flexibility, and the ability to work independently complete your profile
