The opportunity:
As a Data Analyst, you will be part of the Operations Center, India (INOPC-PGTR) and the APMEA Transformers team. Your key responsibilities will include the development and administration of Transformer Power BI reports, delivering detailed ad hoc analytics using SQL, Power BI, Excel, and Power Automate. You will also contribute to the development of the business unit’s reporting and data management initiatives.
How you’ll make an impact:
Responsible for developing and managing Power BI solutions for HUB APMEA - BUTR, including developing and maintaining Power BI reports across all business functions such as Operations & Quality, Engineering, Marketing & Sales (M&S), Supply Chain Management (SCM), HSE, ITM, Controlling/Finance, HR, Training & Development, and other enabling functions; flexibility to work across different global time zones is required.
Extract, clean, and transform data from multiple sources and ensure accuracy and consistency. Development of tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with warehouse standards.
Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights.
Perform ad-hoc data analysis to support business operations, identify trends, and make recommendations for process improvements.
Proactively monitor and strive to maintain high levels of data quality and completeness. Developing, publishing and scheduling Power BI reports to the workspace as per the business requirements.
Elevate data-driven decision-making by querying databases and building models that ensure reliable, scalable insights for reporting and analysis.
Strengthen collaboration and engagement by managing existing SharePoint pages and creating additional pages that improve usability, streamline content presentation, and provide teams with accessible knowledge hubs.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3–5 years of experience in developing solutions using Power BI and streamlining processes through automation tools such as Power Automate, SharePoint and similar tools.
Ability to design and deliver dashboards and transform complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for business. Strong capabilities of DAX queries / Power Query Editor.
Knowledge on SAP & Salesforce and experience in developing and customizing SharePoint pages to enhance usability, improve content presentation, and support team engagement.
Proficiency in SQL for querying data and building data models to support analysis and reporting. Basic understanding of python & statistics to interpret data patterns and support sound conclusions.
Proficiency in core Office 365 tools (Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, etc.). Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
Willingness to travel within India and internationally, based on business requirements.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
