This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 1500000 - Rs 2500000 (ie INR 15 - 25 LPA) Min Experience: 3 years Location: Bangalore JobType: full-time The position available is for a Data Analyst II within the Attractions Data Science and Analytics team, which is distributed between our Amsterdam and Bengaluru offices, and reports to the Manager of Analytics based in Amsterdam.
As the successful candidate, you will work closely with the Product and Commercial teams.
In the role of Data Analyst II, you will participate in multiple phases of data analytics solutions, from initial concept through to implementation, supporting decision-making by delivering relevant and actionable data insights.
You will independently handle data consumption and preparation tasks.
Additionally, this role includes designing and maintaining dashboards and collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Key Job Responsibilities and Duties: ■ Accountable for the end-to-end design and delivery of comprehensive Data Analytics solutions aligned with business requirements, independently taking projects from initial concept through to implementation.
■ Expected to work independently on data ingestion, preparation for analysis, translating business challenges into data-driven narratives, and utilizing input from business stakeholders to identify the optimal technical solutions that maximize customer value.
■ Utilizes prior knowledge, experience, and advanced skills in data analysis and visualization to efficiently address business questions.
Understands stakeholder requirements and develops clear, insightful visualizations that convert data into actionable insights.
■ Takes initiative in identifying and managing stakeholders across operational, project-based, and managerial roles.
Communicates effectively to meet stakeholder needs and presents complex analytical findings in an understandable way.
Begins mentoring junior team members in stakeholder communication.
■ Demonstrates flexibility by adopting existing internal and external Data Analytics methodologies, identifying and proposing opportunities to implement new approaches, and enhancing both personal and peer technical skills when more efficient methods become available.
■ Collaborates closely with colleagues in related disciplines (e.
g., Data Engineering), anticipates data requirements to support the seamless progress of individual projects, and ensures the quality of deliverables through peer review.
■ Plays an influential role in shaping business decisions within their product team.
Qualifications & Skills: ■ Master's degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative discipline (such as Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Bioinformatics, or a related field) ■ PhD or a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience ■ Proven experience solving real-world problems through data mining techniques with a focus on statistical rigor ■ Skilled at crafting a compelling narrative when presenting data ■ Extensive experience integrating insights from diverse data sources ■ Demonstrates strong ownership, stakeholder management, and prioritization abilities ■ Excellent analytical skills combined with commercial awareness to identify opportunities and risks ■ Proficient in technical tools including Hadoop, R, SQL, Python, and Excel ■ Hands-on expertise with Tableau ■ Capable of balancing the need for precision with efficiency ■ Adept at simplifying and communicating complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
