Job description

The Security Operation Specialist has  the end to end responsibility for the physical and logical security of the Network Services, OSS SQM and Infrastructure in accordance with the security policy technically manages and operates components of security  services provided to end users of Nokia customers, within service levels agreed with those customers



Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate security posture of new technologies such as 5G, cloud-native platforms, edge computing, Open RAN, AI-driven networks, Fixed wireless access, VoNR, VoLTE  , VoIP, WebRTC and future telecom evolutions.
  • Identify systemic risks introduced by architectural shifts.
  • Publish structured security advisories prior to large-scale adoption
  • Security Advisory Development, Produce high-quality advisories covering: New telecom technologies ,Data center deployments,IP transport evolution,Virtualization platforms,Network exposure risks
  • Analyze emerging attack techniques and convert them into defensive guidance.
  • Provide security recommendations for new DC builds, expansions, and modernization initiatives.


  • Evaluate segmentation, control planes, physical-logical convergence, and resilience patterns


  • Work with architecture, engineering, SOC, and leadership teams.


  • Ensure advisories are understood and adopted



Qualifications:

You Have:


  • Graduate or Postgraduate in Engineering stream with 10 to 15 years of experience in Cybersecruity with telecom experience/background.


  • Candidate should demonstrate familiarity with telecom security frameworks and architectural standards .
  • GSMA security frameworks and fraud prevention guidance and 3GPP security architecture and specifications
  • ENISA telecom security guidelines and NIST cybersecurity frameworks and risk practices
  • MiTRE FiGHT and GSMA MoTIF deep understanding and Country specific regulatory requirements

It would be nice if you also add:


  • Certifications Preferred in any  of it : CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CCSP
  • Evaluate security posture of new technologies such as 5G, cloud-native platforms, edge computing, Open RAN, AI-driven networks, Fixed wireless access, VoNR, VoLTE  , VoIP, WebRTC and future telecom evolutions.
  • Identify systemic risks introduced by architectural shifts.
  • Publish structured security advisories prior to large-scale adoption.
