Job Summary:


Directs the development and implementation of Cummins’ Corporate Responsibility strategy.


Key Responsibilities:


Serves as an internal resource to leadership for Corporate Responsibility issues. Facilitates meetings with executives to develop Cummins’ Corporate Responsibility strategy; develops and directs projects to implement the strategy; works with business units and functions to develop appropriate internal and external projects and long-term employee involvement plans. Partners with business leaders to identify short and long-term projects to be undertaken to implement the Corporate Responsibility strategy; directs needs analysis in collaboration with business leaders to determine project timelines; oversees analysis, project identification, design, budget, communication, and integration; approves business workflow and project design; ensures leadership sponsorship of projects and activities; ensures appropriate staffing qualifications and staffing levels; ensures appropriate funding for projects. Manages relationships with external community partners. Reviews and consolidates reports on Corporate Responsibility activities; directs the implementation of improvements; collaborates with other functions to implement activities relating to external public relations, marketing, recognition, and awards to support Cummins’ Corporate Responsibility efforts locally and globally. Attends conferences; interfaces with national and global community organizations and committees. Leads, coaches and mentors employee involvement teams and Corporate Responsibility staff; delegates project assignments based on availability, ability, and developmental needs; provides developmental feedback to team members; coaches Corporate Responsibility staff in managing teams.

Education, Licenses, Certifications: 
College, university, or equivalent post-secondary degree in Liberal Arts, Business, Public Relations, Environmental Sciences or relevant subject required. 
Masters Degree preferred. 
Experience: 
Significant relevant experience required, including managerial, and budgetary experience 
Practical experience working with community organizations.



Qualifications:

This position will be responsible for leading Corporate Responsibility for the India Region.
