Job Description – Construction Planning Expert

Position: Construction Planning Expert
Experience Required: Minimum 12+ Years
Qualification: Master’s in Construction Planning / Construction Management or equivalent with Graduation in Civil Engineering.

• Prepare detailed project plans, construction schedules, and work programs for infrastructure/construction projects.

  
  

• Monitor project progress and ensure activities are executed as per approved timelines and milestones.

  
  

• Develop baseline schedules, resource planning, and cash flow projections.

  
  

• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders for planning and execution activities.

  
  

• Identify project delays, risks, and bottlenecks, and recommend corrective measures.

  
  

• Prepare progress reports, dashboards, look-ahead schedules, and MIS reports.

  
  

• Track project performance using planning and scheduling tools.

  
  

• Assist in monitoring productivity, resource utilization, and construction sequencing.

  
  

• Support project management in delay analysis, recovery planning, and schedule optimization.

  
  

• Ensure compliance with project objectives, contractual timelines, and reporting requirements.

  
  

• Strong experience in project planning and scheduling for construction/infrastructure projects.

  
  

• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.

  
  

• Good analytical, coordination, and reporting skills.

  
  

• Ability to manage multiple project activities and stakeholders effectively.
