As an Associate Engineer at GEIS India, you will play a crucial role in supporting the global product development and value engineering initiatives across a diverse portfolio, including low-volume, high-value industrial products that are ideally suitable for harsh and hazardous environments. This position offers hands-on experience in design engineering for both analog and digital electronics, specifically for regulated markets that demand strict compliance with industry standards and certification requirements.
The ideal candidate in this position will be responsible to:
• Support Design and Development of electronic circuits and systems.
• Support PCB layout, schematic creation, and component selection.
• Perform testing and troubleshooting of prototypes and products.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design reports and test procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, software, and manufacturing).
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (UL, IEC) and internal quality processes.
• Participate in cost-out initiatives and design-to-value activities.
• Basic knowledge of analog and digital electronics, communication protocols and embedded systems
• Familiar with Design and CAD tools (Altium, SPICE models)
• Exposure to EMI/EMC design principles
• Understanding of Reliability testing and environmental compliances Able to understand and interpret standards and develop procedures/ SOPs.
• Good Communication and teamwork abilities
• Proactive approach to learning and attention to details
• Good Analytical and problem-solving ability drive for Results
