DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW

In an industry defined by rapid transformation, evolving consumer behaviors, and accelerating technological innovation, PVH is committed to becoming a more consumer-centric and data-driven organization. Within this transformation, the Business Intelligence (BI) team serves as critical enablers ensuring accurate, governed, and accessible data powers operational decisions and long-term business value.

This role sits within the North America Analytics & Insights function and plays a key role in ensuring analytics solutions are trusted, issues are resolved efficiently, and business users are supported with clear, actionable insights.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Analytics Operations Analyst serves as the central intake and triage point for all analytics and BI-related issues, ensuring requests are clearly defined, diagnosed, and routed for resolution through the appropriate channels.

As the business-facing owner of analytics issue triage and resolution, this role drives fast, effective outcomes by coordinating across Product Domain, Power BI Development, and IT Data & Technical teams, including 3rd party IT/AMS support.

This is a business-facing analytics operations role—not a traditional IT support role—focused on triage, data validation, root cause identification, and resolution coordination rather than technical development.

The role is critical to reducing reliance on Domain Owners to diagnose and resolve analytics issues, improving transparency into ticket status, and ensuring analytics platforms deliver reliable, trusted insights.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & POINTS OF ACCOUNTABILITY

1. Triage & Resolution Orchestration (Primary Accountability)
  • Serve as the single point of entry for all analytics and BI support requests
  • Own the end-to-end ticket lifecycle: intake → triage → resolution orchestration → closure
  • Diagnose issues and determine appropriate path:
    • Resolve directly where appropriate (data validation, metric clarification, user guidance)
    • Route and coordinate with appropriate teams (3rd party IT/AMS, BI developers, data engineering, product domain owners)
  • Act as the bridge between business users and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment
  • Ensure tickets are well-defined, documented, and actionable before escalation
  • Maintain full visibility into ticket status, aging, and resolution progress
  • Enforce Jira standards, documentation quality, and SLA adherence

Outcome: Centralized, business-led triage model with clear ownership and reduced dependency on domain teams

2. Data Validation & Root Cause Identification
  • Perform data validation and reconciliation across systems to investigate reported issues
  • Identify root cause of issues, including:
    • Data quality or integration issues
    • Metric definition or logic discrepancies
    • User interpretation or usage gaps
  • Conduct and document root cause analysis (RCA)
  • Recommend resolution actions across:
    • Data fixes (via IT/data teams)
    • Logic or metric updates
    • User enablement (training, documentation)

Outcome: Improved data accuracy, clarity, and reduced recurrence of issues

3. Coordination with IT / AMS & Delivery Teams
  • Partner closely with 3rd party IT/AMS support teams to drive timely resolution of technical issues
  • Ensure issues handed off to IT are:
    • Clearly defined
    • Supported with validation and business context
    • Properly documented for efficient resolution
  • Track progress of escalated issues and hold accountability across teams for resolution timelines
  • Support the Analytics Delivery Operations Lead by:
    • Preparing clean, structured Jira tickets (Epics/Stories)
    • Supporting backlog readiness and prioritization inputs
    • Ensuring alignment between business needs and technical delivery

Outcome: Faster, more effective resolution through structured coordination with IT and delivery teams

4. User Support & Targeted Enablement
  • Provide direct support to business users on dashboards, metrics, and analytics tools
  • Clarify metric definitions, data sources, and appropriate usage of dashboards
  • Identify recurring user issues and:
    • Improve documentation and FAQs
    • Recommend targeted training enhancements
  • Support adoption of standardized dashboards and reduce reliance on offline reporting

Outcome: Improved user confidence, adoption, and reduced repeat inquiries

5. Ticket Tracking, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
  • Track and report on:
    • Ticket volume, aging, and resolution times
    • Root cause trends and recurring issues
  • Provide transparent updates to stakeholders on ticket status and key blockers
  • Identify systemic issues and recommend:
    • Process improvements
    • Data quality fixes
    • Platform or usability enhancements
  • Support ongoing monitoring of BI platform performance and adoption

Outcome: Greater transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement of analytics operations

KEY STAKEHOLDERS

  • Internal: Analytics & Insights teams, Domain Product Owners, Commercial & Operations business teams

  • Experience working with BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar
  • Strong SQL skills and ability to validate and reconcile data across systems
  • Strong understanding of data models, metrics, and reporting logic
  • Experience working in cross-functional environments bridging business and IT
  • Familiarity with ticketing tools (e.g., Jira) and structured issue management
  • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis mindset
  • Ability to translate business issues into clearly defined technical tickets
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Experience:
