Project description This role focuses on delivering AI-assisted database migration and modernization solutions, specifically targeting Oracle to PostgreSQL transformations. The position involves designing intelligent, LLM-driven workflows to automate schema conversion, SQL remediation, validation, and reconciliation. You will build scalable AI accelerators leveraging RAG, prompt engineering, and orchestration frameworks while ensuring strong governance, auditability, and human-in-the-loop validation for enterprise-grade migration programs. Responsibilities Design and implement AI-assisted workflows for database migration and modernization Develop LLM-driven pipelines for schema conversion, SQL translation, and PL/SQL remediation Build and orchestrate workflows for transformation, validation, and exception handling Implement advanced prompt engineering techniques for migration artifact generation Design and optimize Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions for migration rules and reusable patterns Enable human-in-the-loop validation and enterprise review mechanisms Establish AI safety, governance, guardrails, and auditability frameworks Integrate AI solutions into enterprise migration and delivery workflows Develop knowledge models and semantic retrieval systems for migration intelligence Implement LLM observability, monitoring, and evaluation frameworks (LLMOps) Ensure quality, accuracy, and scalability of migration outputs across large datasets Skills Must have 5+ Years of experience in similar role Strong experience in AI-assisted database migration and modernization Solid understanding of Oracle to PostgreSQL migration, including schema conversion, SQL compatibility, and PL/SQL remediation Proficiency in Python (FastAPI, Pydantic) for backend AI development Hands-on experience with LangChain and/or LangGraph for workflow orchestration Experience working with OpenAI APIs and/or open-source LLMs (Llama, Mistral) Hands-on experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Milvus, Weaviate) Experience building internal tools using Streamlit or Gradio Experience with cloud AI platforms (AWS Bedrock, Azure AI, Google Vertex AI) Experience with LLM monitoring tools (LangSmith, Arize Phoenix or similar) Strong expertise in prompt engineering for SQL translation and code remediation Experience in designing and implementing RAG-based solutions Knowledge of AI safety, governance, guardrails, and auditability Experience in enterprise application integration and AI orchestration Understanding of knowledge modeling and semantic retrieval systems Experience in LLM observability, evaluation, and monitoring (LLMOps) Experience with API integration and backend orchestration frameworks Preferred Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of Oracle database objects, SQL, and PL/SQL Knowledge of PostgreSQL fundamentals and migration considerations Experience in enterprise migration programs and modernization initiatives Understanding of data validation, reconciliation, and quality control processes Nice to have Familiarity with AWS Kiro Experience in AI-led enterprise modernization or migration programs Strong understanding of validation, reconciliation, and migration quality control frameworks Exposure to performance and cost optimization in AI-driven migration solutions Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for AI/ML deployments Other Languages English: B2 Upper Intermediate Seniority Senior
