Job description

1. Position Objective

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling all production activities, ensuring that manufacturing targets are consistently achieved in alignment with safety, quality, cost, and delivery requirements. The role ensures the efficient utilization of resources, including raw materials, workforce, and equipment, while promoting continuous improvement across operations.



2. Key Responsibilities

·      Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet demand and delivery commitments

·      Develop and control raw material planning in alignment with production requirements and inventory targets

·      Ensure effective execution of the production plan, meeting volume, quality, and delivery deadlines

·      Monitor and enhance operational performance using KPIs such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), productivity, and efficiency

·      Lead and enforce SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) standards, ensuring full compliance with company policies and local regulations

·      Coordinate closely with Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, and Maintenance teams

·      Manage workforce allocation, shift planning, and team performance

·      Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization, waste reduction, and cost savings

·      Ensure proper equipment utilization and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities

·      Investigate production deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

·      Maintain accurate production records and prepare performance reports

·      Promote a culture of discipline, accountability, and operational excellence on the shop floor



3. Technical Requirements

·      Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial) or a related field

·      Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in the paints, coatings, or chemical industry

·      Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory management, and process control

·      Experience with KPI management, including OEE and operational efficiency metrics

·      Solid understanding of SHE standards and industrial safety practices

·      Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools

·      Proven experience in managing teams within an industrial environment

·      Fluent English (mandatory)
